BBQ Time TODAY!

The time has come for our annual BBQ, and this year it's a special event. We celebrate the 10th anniversary of our neighborhood meetings, begun long ago by Dolores, and graciously chaired by Mary and Kevin for these past many seasons. Elizabeth and Mai have organized art activities and a talent show for today, and Billy will MC. Martha has coordinated the food and planning activities. What's known so far is that 22 adults and 13 children will attend, and at least 3 vegetable/salads, 3 main dishes, 3 fruit/salads, 3 deserts, 2 drink offerings, and 3 mystery dishes will be available to share. So, come and join our festivities: see what surprises await you!

Today also gives us a chance to celebrate the life of our senior member, Joe, who passed away recently. At 95, he was an icon of our neighborhood, and we will miss him. Shauna will lead the memorial, at which time you're invited to share memories, photos, and/or stories of Joe.
